Privacy

Our contact form uses Google Forms to collect the name, optional reply email and message you provide. Submissions are stored privately in the publication’s Google account and used to assess story tips, corrections, event and business submissions, and respond to enquiries. Contact details are not published. Please avoid sensitive personal information. Google processes form information under its own privacy policy.

West End News uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people read, how they find the site and how they interact with its content. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes usage information such as page views, device and browser details, approximate location and interactions with links. Advertising personalisation is disabled in our tracking configuration. The hosting service may also process technical access information to deliver and secure the site. Linked websites have their own privacy practices.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Google explains its data practices at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Use our contact form to ask about information you have submitted, request a correction or ask for deletion. Newsletter delivery is not active; submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
